A retailer is a B2C business that purchases from distributors, wholesalers, or directly from brands in order to market their products or services to customers. Resellers are either individuals or businesses who sell products under their own private label or stock to the buyer. They are typically skilled negotiators that can locate the best suppliers at lowest price and then sell their products to consumers at a profit.

This model of business is becoming popular today, especially due to the growth of online shopping platforms. Even brick and mortar companies like Home Depot Walmart and Target are reselling products. There are many online marketplaces on which individuals successful collaboration system can sell products. Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, and even Poshmark the most well-known clothing website, are all examples. Some of these online marketplaces may have restrictions about what you can sell.
